Adult Potter's Wheel Instruction 

Participants learn basic wheel throwing techniques as they explore centering, pulling, trimming, and glazing techniques.  Class demonstrations and individualized instruction further help participants achieve personal goals.  Adult Beginner-Intermediate.

Potter's Wheel for Kids (age 8+)

This After-School class is intended for students who have an interest (& curiosity) to work with clay beyond hand-building and clay forming.  Students will discover the magnificent qualities of clay as they learn basic wheel throwing skills and techniques.  Led by MA certified teacher.

Summer Clay Camp for Kids (age 8+)

An exciting week long exploration in clay.  Students explore skills and techniques as they practice pinch pots, coils, slab building, wheel throwing, relief carving and more.  Concepts are further taught through literature, games, visual aids and demonstrations.  Pottery's history is explored as well, cultivating students' ability to interpret and understand past civilizations.  Lunch will be at 11:15, packed cold lunch required.  All glazed pieces will be available for pick up 2 wks later.  Taught by MA certified teacher.  Ages 8-14.

"Clay with Us" Get Togethers

Book ahead and enjoy a relaxing evening with friends (for corporate gathering, showers, etc).  Get messy and have fun as you experiment with clay.  Participants create hand-built tiles, coil pots, vases platters or small sculpture.  Event includes all clay, tools, glaze and firings.  Projects will be be fired after party and available for pick-up 2 wks later.  Groups welcome to bring snack/beverage.
